Restaurants are for Humans

There is a bill going through the General Assembly that would allow dogs in the outdoor dining areas of restaurants.  First of all I think we should be focusing on bills that affect humans.  Second, I don’t want to eat next to dogs! When I am enjoying one of the way too few outdoor dining [...]

Bohero: Trans-Elect

Baltimore, I know it has been a long time since we have awarded a Bohero, but you should not blame us, you should blame you own ineptitude.  Do something sick and you will get the award.  It’s that simple.  Meanwhile Rabboh has been handing out plenty of cots, so we needed someone to step up [...]

Another “Democrat” for Ehrlich

We have all seen the bumper stickers and yard signs that read “Another Democrat for Ehrlich.”  We saw them eight years ago.  We saw them four years ago.  Eight years ago they made sense because Kathleen Kennedy Townsend was not very popular, even among Democrats.  This is not the case with Governor O’Malley.  He enjoys [...]

Our Baby Is Growing Up So Fast

It was one year ago today that Bohs and O’s made its debut on the world wide web.  We had no idea what was in store, but it’s been a great pleasure to write for this blog over the past 12 months.  We can only hope that you all have enjoyed reading it as much [...]

Needless to say,  some Marylanders were none too happy about the senators opposing the beloved conservative philosophy of “drill [...]

Cot of the Week: Delegate Don H. Dwyer Jr.

On Wednesday morning Delegate Dwyer attempted to enter into impeachment proceedings for the state’s Attorney General, Douglas F. Gansler.  Dwyer was furious with Gansler for his belief that Maryland should recognize same-sex marriages that were performed out of state.  Dwyer’s request was easily shot down in the House Judiciary Committee with a 15-5 vote against [...]

Bohero of the Week

Delegate Nathaniel Oaks must have had Boh drinking Baltimore Bros in mind when he introduced House Bill 429 to the Maryland House of Delegates.  House Bill 429 would push back last call from 2:00 to 3:00 a.m.  While this bill has little other support in the House and will likely never leave committee, the effort [...]
